Foundation of the Carl Hübenthal KG by Carl Hübenthal, in Hagener Straße in Altena, Germany.

The Carl Hübenthal KG purchases old textiles (rags) from scavengers in order to sort them for re-use in the textile industry.

Expansion of the company by means of an industrial laundering facility - Working garment and textile woven wiping cloths were washed here.

Indemnification of the delivery of wiping cloths for the defence industry
